The Yamaha URX44V in black is a compact audio interface for anyone who needs more than just two channels and still wants to stay in the flow quickly. Four high-quality microphone preamps, a sophisticated touch display and a flexible routing architecture make it the central hub for recording, streaming and production in the home studio or project studio.
With its four combo inputs, the URX44V records vocals, guitars, keyboards or synths simultaneously without the need to constantly switch inputs. The preamps deliver plenty of gain, work cleanly and quietly and feel right at home with both dynamic microphones and condensers. Two Hi Z inputs are provided for guitars and basses so that the instrument can be fed directly into the interface without the need for a DI box. The setup is completed by the front connections with a

The URX44V also comes with an integrated HDMI interface. Cameras, games consoles or other video sources can be connected directly via HDMI. Audio and video are transmitted together via USB to the computer, perfectly synchronized and without additional capture hardware. The HDMI Thru output allows the video signal to be passed on to a monitor or projector at the same time. This makes the URX44V particularly interesting for live streams, podcasts with a camera, video content or game streaming, where picture and sound need to run smoothly together.
The 4.3-inch touch display is not just a decoration, but a real working tool. Levels, effects, routing and monitoring can be set directly on the device, without a mouse and without software chaos. Together with the rotary controls, it almost feels like a small digital mixer. Scenes can be saved and recalled, which helps enormously when switching between recording and streaming.
The URX44V uses internal DSP effects such as compressor, EQ, gate, reverb and amp simulations. This means latency-free monitoring with processed sound, whether you're singing, playing guitar or live streaming. Auto Gain and Clip Safe are particularly practical when things have to be done quickly or when guests are sitting at the microphone who are not experienced in the studio.

The URX44V is connected via USB C and also offers a second USB port for parallel setups, for example computer plus tablet or streaming computer. A real highlight is the option of multi-track recording directly to
Unlike the URX44, the URX44V is powered by an external power supply unit. This fixed power supply ensures stable performance even with active HDMI, touch
Whether band recording, podcasting with multiple mics, live streaming with instruments or a classic DAW setup, the URX44V is versatile enough to cover it all without getting complicated. The black housing is unobtrusive, robust and fits perfectly into modern studio setups.
In addition, the URX44V comes with the right software to get you started right away. Cubase AI for recording and production and WaveLab Cast for cutting, editing and publishing are included. This allows you to create songs, podcasts or streams from the first take to the finished result without having to search for external software. This is complemented by the Steinberg Basic FX Suite and Steinberg Plus, which is extremely practical for beginners or as a mobile setup.
