A smart introduction to mixing

Neutron 5 Elements is a plug-in that was developed specifically for the individual editing of individual audio tracks. At its heart is the wizard, which provides a customized basis for the mix with intelligent suggestions. By simply adding the plugin to a track and starting the wizard, Neutron Elements analyzes the audio signal and provides a suitable basis for processing. The wizard includes settings for tonality, dynamics, saturation and width, which can be adjusted in the view to achieve the desired sonic character.

The wizard's user interface is divided into three main areas: the intent controls, which allow specific sound decisions for tone, dynamics, saturation and width, the target library with instrument targets and user-defined reference targets, and the meters, which provide a visualization of the audio signal and its frequency balance. The tone settings include the equalizer and the sculptor, which provides spectral tone shaping. Dynamic settings such as the compressor and the new Density control help to emphasize soft details, while saturation and width control round off the sound spatially and tonally.

The target library offers a wide selection of intelligent instrument targets that automatically set a starting point for processing the signal. You can import your own reference targets, which makes it easier to achieve a specific tonal model. The tonal balance parameters can be visually monitored via the meter and compared with the targets.
