Partially solid body

To achieve its characteristic sound, the guitar features a solid mahogany top combined with laminated mahogany for the back and sides. This combination of tonewoods produces a balanced sound with a warm fundamental tone and expressive mid-range. The scalloped X bracing also promotes the free vibration of the top and, together with the solid construction, contributes to impressive resonance and projection.

Slim neck construction

The Fender California Deluxe Redondo also impresses across the board when it comes to playing comfort. Crafted from mahogany, the neck sits comfortably in the hand thanks to its slim Slim-C profile and allows for effortless fingering.
