De Elixir 12002 Nanoweb Electric 09-42 is een set 6-snarige elektrische gitaarsnaren gemaakt van vernikkeld staal met een Nanoweb coating en worden geleverd in een superlichte gauge. Deze snaren leveren de aanwezigheid, punch, en persoonlijkheid van traditionele elektrische gitaarsnaren, maar met een verlengde levensduur. De vernikkelde Nanoweb snaren leveren een consistente prestatie en toon, en bieden een soepel gevoel met verbeterde bespeelbaarheid en minder piepende vingers. De gewone stalen snaren hebben een anti-roest laag die bestand is tegen tooncorrosie.

This is my third set of Elixirs and will probably never change to another brand again. The strings stay free of dirt and rust for at least half a year for me, and they keep their vibrance very long. The coating gives it a bit more warm sound and a slicker feel to it, which I find very pleasant but might be a matter of preference. Even though they are a bit more expensive than the general brands, they last much longer and save me money eventually, so all in all great product for the price.
Long lasting, great tone and @ Music Store the price is great! With normal strings I play about 2 weeks and after 1 rehearsal the crispy sound is gone. With these strings I play for over a month with long lasting tone. After 2 rehearsals the super crispy sound fades a little, but still leaving good tone for weeks. Maybe double the price of non-coated strings, but lasting 4 times longer!
