With the Darkglass Microtubes B3K v2 the Finnish effects company presents the second reincarnation of the extremely popular Microtubes B3K Bass Overdrive. Based on the same, completely analog circuit, Version 2 delivers the legendary, defined Brachial Overdrive. In addition to the familiar control panel, a switchable mid-boost and the Grunt switch are available for adjusting the sound image.

In addition to the Drive control for adjusting the distortion level, the Darkglass Microtubes B3K has a Tone control for adjusting the treble content and the Blend control for mixing in the clean signal to maintain the bass pressure. In addition, the Grunt switch activates a massive bass boost that strongly boosts the sound, while the mid-boost raises the frequencies between 300 Hz and 1000 Hz for increased assertiveness.
