With the Tap Tempo LFO AJH Synth presents a digital LFO with 16 different waveforms spread over two banks of eight. The selection of waveforms covers all the classic waveforms like triangle, sine, square, sawtooth or ramp, and is complemented by sample & hold, staircase and some pretty unique shapes. Adding to this, 15 of the 16 waveforms can be extremely bent with the twist control, which is most comparable to pulse width modulation. The wide frequency range goes from 0.05Hz (20 seconds per cycle) to 50Hz, and the Multiply knob can double, triple, quadruple or halve the LFO rate. In this way, the LFO is always based on the current tempo, which is determined by tapping in or a patched clock signal. Each parameter including the waveform selection can be modulated via control voltage. The level control turns into a VCA when the cable is plugged in, so the intensity can be modulated at the two CV outputs (unipolar & bipolar) eg. via velocity, a second
