With the Batumi II, XAOC Devices presents the official successor to the popular quad LFO Batumi. The module combines four identical LFOs that primarily generate the sine and square waveforms and offers one of six assignable waveforms (sawtooth, ramp, triangle, trapezoid, Stepped & Smooth random) for all four units to choose from. There is also a CV input for each LFO, the function of which varies with the selected mode, and a reset/sync input. Batumi II combines a high function density on 10 HP and is the ideal modulation source for complex patches in which several modulations interlock. The four faders have built-in LEDs and thus provide constant visual feedback. With the Expander Poti II, Batumi II is expanded to include the possibility of modulating the waveform of sine, assign or square.
There are five modes to choose from
- Free: each LFO runs completely independently
- Quadrature: LFO1 sets the tempo, LFOs 2-4 are shifted by 90° to each other and their level can be adjusted
- Phase: LFO1 sets the tempo, LFOs 2-4 can be shifted variably in phase offset
- Divide: the LFOs synchronize to Clock (tap tempo or external) and can be set with an individual clock divider
- Mult: the LFOs synchronize to Clock (tap tempo or external) and can be set with integer clock multipliers
