The Tobinski Dual LFO module combines two distinct digital LFOs, both based on the renowned Electric Druid algorithms. Designed for maximum flexibility, each LFO offers deep modulation capabilities and features 16 waveforms, divided into two banks of eight. While some classic analog shapes appear in both sets, many unique and unconventional waveforms are also included for more experimental sound design. Each LFO provides controls for Shape, Frequency, Cross Frequency (X Freq), Skew, and Level. A Smoothing function is also available, softening waveform edges and transitions to create more fluid modulation curves. One of the standout features of the module is its internal cross-modulation system: each LFO includes two modulation inputs, complete with routing switches and attenuators, which can accept signals from the adjacent LFO or from external control voltages. The left LFO is based on the TapLFO3C and supports clock synchronization. In sync mode, the frequency control acts as a multiplier/divider to match tempo-based subdivisions, making it ideal for rhythmic modulation. It also includes a switchable voltage range, offering either ±5V or 0–10V outputs. The right LFO, based on the LFO10, includes a reset input that restarts the waveform with each incoming gate signal, allowing for precise sync with other modules. This LFO can also operate in sample & hold mode, using its 16 waveform bank as the sample source for creative and unpredictable results.
