As a logical evolution of the Blue Velvet, the DiMarzio DP175S True Velvet Middle RWRP White produces the clear and bright sounds of classic Vintage single-coil pickups, whilst combining them with a warm and vocal character that does not sound harsh when played in the higher registers. To achieve this, the coil winding’s ‘ Frequenzbereich ’ has been adjusted so that, whilst skilfully reproducing all the qualities of the ‘ Treble ’ range, it also has plenty to offer in the high and low mid-range frequencies. The single-coil for the Mittelposition is reverse-wound and reverse-polarised (RWRP) for noise-free combinations with neck and bridge pickups, and features a well-balanced ‘ Output ’ across all six strings thanks to its stepped pole pieces.
