With its unique construction the Roswell CHL Charlie Christian Pickup achieves a warm, profound character and opens up especially the profession of expressive jazz sounds. The pickup has a rather wide coil winding, but uses a slightly thicker AWG38 wire with lower DC resistance. In combination with continuous Alnico V blade magnets, the pickup offers a moderate vintage output with always clear string definition.

I think these are great pickups for the money - clear and distinctive sound - only dropped one star as I feel a hand wound option might open up the sound a bit more and add some of those 'original' microphonics!
