Classic semi-acoustic construction
In the construction of the Starplayer TV Phonic, Duesenberg relies on classic ingredients for a semi-acoustic electric guitar. Accordingly, the laminated maple body is topped with a laminated spruce top, whereby a solid center block prevents feedback. With its "D" profile, the glued maple neck also sits comfortably in the hand so that every note can be played easily between the 22 Jumbo frets of the rosewood fingerboard.
Duesenberg Starplayer TV Phonic: Versatile sounds with "Phonico" pickups
The pickups of the Duesenberg Starplayer TC Phonic are hidden under the eponymous "Phonico" caps, which bring a breath of fresh air to traditional pickup production with their unique look. The bridge features the tried-and-tested Duesenberg Grand Vintage humbucker for warm Vintage sounds of the highest quality, while the P-90 Dimino on the neck brings every note to life with lively liveliness. The 4-way rotary switch can be used to select the pickups individually, together or in combination with the Duesenberg filter circuit.
Duesenberg Hardware for uncompromising functionality
The Starplayer TV Phonic Balboa Pearl Red electric guitar is completed by high-quality Hardware from our own production, which impresses with its well-known uncompromising functionality. Accordingly, the Duesenberg Radiator Tremolo serves as the tailpiece on the body, which invites you to play with shimmering vibratos thanks to its butter-smooth handling and high tuning stability. From here, the strings are guided over the Duesenberg Steel Saddle Bridge before they come to rest on the precise Duesenberg Z tuners after a scale length of 25.5" (648 mm).
