Deluxe Big Muff Pi 2: Op-amp fuzz with Wicker switch and noise gate

With the Electro Harmonix Deluxe Big Muff Pi 2, the rediscovered Dual Op-Amp Big Muff 2 is given a fully-featured deluxe version for maximum sonic versatility. Electro Harmonix is thus expanding the Big Muff 2 family with another model, following the Big Muff 2 and the Big Muff 2 with Tone Wicker. In addition to the characteristic Big Muff sound with long sustain and assertive mids, the pedal offers numerous functions for advanced sound shaping. A Blend control allows for seamless mixing of the clean and effect signals, whilst a built-in noise gate reliably reduces unwanted background noise. Additional flexibility is provided by the 3-way Wicker switch with extended treble options, as well as a foot-switchable parametric mid-range section including a Hi/Lo-Q switch. The mid-frequency can even be controlled in real time via the expression/CV input and used to create wah-like fuzz effects. Buffered bypass, a latching/momentary footswitch and the included 9-volt mains adaptor round off the features of this versatile fuzz pedal.
