High playability and careful wood selection
The Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl is crafted by experienced luthiers in Europe and stands out for its meticulous wood selection and flawless workmanship. The body is made of khaya mahogany with a poplar burl top, whose unique grain is beautifully highlighted by the finish. The sharply contoured top with its cutaway recess ensures effortless playability across all registers and serves as an elegant visual highlight. The sapele mahogany neck rests comfortably in the hand thanks to its perfectly proportioned "D" profile, allowing every note on the ebony fingerboard to flow with ease.
With two Seymour Duncan humbuckers and a piezo pickup system in the bridge, the Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl delivers versatile sounds.
Seymour Duncan humbucker for sounds between Blues and rock
Thanks to its versatile pickup configuration, the Fame Forum IV Modern offers exceptional tonal flexibility. Equipped with a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB at the bridge and a Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz at the neck, this proven pair of humbuckers delivers the perfect sound for genres ranging from blues and pop to rock and even metal. The bridge pickup stands out with its high output and the powerful presence of its sharply defined mids, while the neck pickup brings each note to life with rich sustain and a warm vintage character. The coil-split circuit also provides authentic single-coil tones with the characteristic clear, bell-like sound.
The front volume control is designed as a push/pull pot and activates the piezo. The humbuckers can be split into single coils using the mini switch.
Piezo pickup system
In addition to its magnetic pickups, the Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary features a GraphTech Ghost piezo pickup system integrated into the bridge with an active preamp. The system is activated by pulling the front volume control and produces authentic acoustic guitar tones with sparkling highs and the characteristic attack response when amplified. The piezo system’s volume can be adjusted using the rear potentiometer, allowing seamless blending with the magnetic Seymour Duncan pickups for versatile mixed tones.
The Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl Stonewashed Blue Gloss has a body made of khaya mahogany, while the glued neck is made of sapele mahogany.
The Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary is equipped with Gotoh locking tuners for precise tuning and quick string changes.
Hardware from Gotoh and GraphTech
Last but not least, the Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl stands out with its premium hardware that ensures flawless reliability both on stage and in the studio. From the traditional stopbar tailpiece, the strings run over the GraphTech ResoMax Tune-O-Matic bridge, whose graphite string savers house the Ghost piezo elements. The Black TUSQ nut, located just before the headstock, also comes from GraphTech and works in perfect harmony with the precise Gotoh locking tuners for exceptional tuning stability.

Excerpt: Otherwise, perfection down to the last detail. The unlacquered satin surfaces convey an extremely pleasant feel, the ergonomics a high level of playing comfort. Schaller hardware, Seymour Duncan pickups and GraphTech Ghost Piezo Bridge with corresponding Preamp - that's how you score plus points. Last but not least, the sound of both guitars is absolutely convincing and, thanks to their very good resonance characteristics, excellent dynamics and stable Sustain, they can also be used for a wide range of different musical genres.

I've REALLY gelled with this guitar. First thing first the wood on this guitar and the craftsmanship are TOP notch. I was not impressed with the electronics the Duncan pickups, while a classic combo, didn't suit my needs. I put shur thornbuckers in right away. While the piezo pickups are graphtech the preamp is not, I changed that out as well. I also added a tone control and removed the piezo switch for a piezo volume (can be done with a mini pot). As you can see I'm super particular about my electronics so I don't fault fame, especially at this price. I will be buy another one! But, can we get a few more color options for the semi hollow!???
