FAME Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary - Exclusive electric guitar in Stonewashed Blue Gloss

The Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl Stonewashed Blue Gloss celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Fame brand as a strictly limited special model featuring premium tonewoods, modern equipment, and exceptional playing comfort. The slim mahogany body with an elegant poplar burl top not only showcases its striking visual details but also ensures a comfortable playing position, with generous cutaways providing unrestricted access across the entire neck. The neck is made from mahogany and traditionally glued, while the flat "D" profile fits naturally in the hand, allowing every riff or lick on the ebony fingerboard to flow effortlessly. When connected to an amplifier, the trusted combination of a Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz at the neck and a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB at the bridge delivers versatile tones ranging from pop and blues to rock, further enhanced by coil-split functionality for authentic single-coil sounds. The integrated piezo pickup system also offers first-class acoustic tones, ensuring unlimited possibilities for tonal variety and musical expression. A Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece and precise Gotoh locking tuners complete the Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl Stonewashed Blue Gloss.

The body is made of khaya mahogany with a poplar burl top, whose unique grain is beautifully highlighted by the finish. The sharply contoured top with its cutaway recess ensures effortless playability across all registers and serves as an elegant visual highlight. The sapele mahogany neck rests comfortably in the hand thanks to its perfectly proportioned "D" profile, allowing every note on the ebony fingerboard to flow with ease.

The front volume control is designed as a push/pull pot and activates the piezo. The humbuckers can be split into single coils using the mini switch.

Piezo pickup system

In addition to its magnetic pickups, the Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary features a GraphTech Ghost piezo pickup system integrated into the bridge with an active preamp. The system is activated by pulling the front volume control and produces authentic acoustic guitar tones with sparkling highs and the characteristic attack response when amplified. The piezo system’s volume can be adjusted using the rear potentiometer, allowing seamless blending with the magnetic Seymour Duncan pickups for versatile mixed tones.

Excerpt: Otherwise, perfection down to the last detail. The unlacquered satin surfaces convey an extremely pleasant feel, the ergonomics a high level of playing comfort. Schaller hardware, Seymour Duncan pickups and GraphTech Ghost Piezo Bridge with corresponding Preamp - that's how you score plus points. Last but not least, the sound of both guitars is absolutely convincing and, thanks to their very good resonance characteristics, excellent dynamics and stable Sustain, they can also be used for a wide range of different musical genres.
