Under the golden, gauzily applied nitro finish, a two-piece alder body is used, which not only promises an ideal balance due to the offset design, but also guarantees a free access to the high layers of the rosewood fingerboard, which is set historically correct as a "Round Laminated Board" on the 9.5" arching (241 mm) given by the maple neck.
