This Corona, California-built electric guitar follows classic Strat dimensions with a body made of particularly lightweight alder and a bolt-on rift-sawn maple neck with a solid '59 Esquire 'C' neck profile. For a detailed reproduction of the vintage playing style there are three hand-wound Tomatillo Single Coils in neck, middle and bridge position, while the middle pickup is reverse polarized and wound for hum-free intermediate positions. Thanks to the Vintage Modified #2 Wiring, the bridge pickup has its own Tone control, which tames overly harsh highs when needed, while the Tone Saver Treble Bleed Circuit avoids unwanted treble loss on all volume settings.
