The instrument was made from high-quality tonewoods and shines with an elaborate Journeyman finish in Aged Ice Blue Metallic, while the golden hardware components visually enhance the look. With true-to-original dimensions of a 1965 Stratocaster, the electric guitar conveys the spirit of the times and the playing feel of the legendary sixties. Exquisite tonewoods and golden hardware

The two-piece ash body was treated with an elaborate Journeyman treatment, whereby fine "cracks" in the Ice Blue Metallic finish provide a light, authentic aging. The neck made of high-quality quartersawn maple with a 65 Strat "C" profile provides a butter-soft playing feel with an authentic vintage touch. An exquisite rosewood fingerboard in AAA quality with its 9.5" fingerboard radius supports the handling of the fretting hand, while the 21 frets with narrow-tall format are based entirely on the original from the 1960s. For artistic vibrato applications, the instrument features a Custom Shop Vintage Strat tremolo in a golden finish, which blends in perfectly with the vintage tuners and the golden screws of the black pickguard.

Three hand-wound Strat Dual Mag II single coils deliver the legendary Stratocaster sound with a vocal sound character.

Hand-Wired Strat Dual Mag II Single Coils and Vintage Modified #2 Wiring

For the legendary Stratocaster sound, three hand-wound Strat Dual Mag II single coils were installed in the neck, middle and bridge positions. Dual Mag refers to two different magnet types in one pickup - in this case a combination of Alnico II and Alnico V magnets - which each combine their best sound characteristics and thus ensure an open sound with balanced dynamics. The mid-range pickup is also designed in RWRP format and prevents unpleasant noise thanks to its reverse winding. In addition, the circuit of the 1965 Dual Mag Stratocaster was equipped with a Vintage Modified #2 Wiring, including its own tone control for the bridge pickup.
