The Fender Custom Shop 1965 Stratocaster Super Heavy Relic from the Time Machine series is a detailed homage to a vintage Strat that has been played for decades. The body made of two-piece selected alder has an elaborately aged Super Heavy Relic finish in Super Faded Aged Tahitian Coral over 3-Color Sunburst and conveys authentic roadworn character down to the smallest detail. The maple neck in the comfortable 1965 Strat "C" profile (.790" at the 1st fret, .920" at the 12th fret) combines a 3A rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5" radius and 21 Narrow Tall 6105 frets for a modern feel with a classic look. Three Custom Shop Hand-Wound '65 single coils (Middle RWRP) deliver the typical mid-sixties Strat sound - bell-like, transparent and dynamic, with authentic vintage voicing and modern 5-way switching. High-quality Hardware such as the 6-saddle Vintage-Style Synchronized Tremolo with bent-steel saddles, vintage tuners with Fender® logo and a bone nut round off the package. The guitar is delivered in a Deluxe hardshell Case including certificate.
