75th Anniversary American Vintage: Authentic 1951 Nocaster to mark the 75th anniversary!
The Fender 75th Anniversary American Vintage II 1951 Nocaster Blonde celebrates over seven decades of music history and captures the legendary Tele sound of the first mass-produced solid-body electric guitar. The name ‘Nocaster’ came about when Fender was forced to drop the original name ‘Broadcaster’ due to a trademark dispute, and the guitars were on the market without a model name for a brief transitional period. With this historical context in mind, Fender is launching an authentic 1951 Nocaster, which impresses with its precise dimensions and magnificent sound. The ash body is beautifully showcased thanks to the natural Buttersotch Blonde nitro finish, whilst the maple neck, with its 1951 “U” profile and 7.25” fingerboard radius, delivers a genuine vintage feel. To capture the classic sound of the 1950s, this model is fitted with two Blackguard single-coil pickups, which deliver plenty of character across a range of styles from country and blues to classic rock riffs. It pays homage to the first mass-produced solid-body guitar, which paved the way for modern electric guitar designs. The American Vintage II 1951 Nocaster comes complete with a case and a certificate of authenticity.
