With the Fender Ariel Posen Stratocaster, the Fender Custom store in Corona, California, presents a signature instrument designed entirely to the preferences of the Canadian singer-songwriter. The Stratocaster with double P-90 setup and some interesting appointments offers first-class sounds, proven playing feel and a classy look with Faded Aged Lake Placid Blue high-gloss finish, brown 'cupcake' knob caps and classic nickel/chrome hardware. Furthermore, a set of Dunlop Ariel Posen picks, his Signature Rock Slide and a Moody Leather Ariel Posen Signature strap are included with the Ariel Posen Stratocaster.

Alder body & Quarter Sawn Flamed Maple Neck

While the body of the Fender Ariel Posen Stratocaster is classically made from two pieces of selected alder, the quadruple-bolted neck is made from high-quality Quarter Sawn Flame Maple in AA quality. On the back, the neck with its 1969 U-profile provides a proven vintage feel with a high recognition value. In addition, the Fender Ariel Posen Stratocaster features a rosewood fingerboard with 21 vintage frets and a 9.5" radius as the perfect basis for secure chord playing and sustain-rich bendings.

Fender AP-90 designed by Tim Shaw

The two Fender AP-90 pickups in the P-90 style were developed by none other than pickup guru Tim Shaw and give the Fender Ariel Posen Stratocaster its unique voice. The result is a powerful sound with a good dose of punch and a strong mid-range spectrum that is ideal for soulful blues licks. Under the hood, the two pickups are connected via a custom Caballo Férreo wiring , which provides a master volume, a master tone and a toggle switch with three switching positions.
