Buckeye Burl, Roasted Pine & Birdseye Maple
The unique tone and aesthetic of the Artisan Buckeye Double Esquire come from its rare and exotic wood combination. A lightweight, roasted pine body forms the tonal foundation, topped with a striking two-piece Buckeye burl cap – outlined in herringbone purfling for a luxurious touch. To enhance resonance, the body features a semi-hollow design with an elegant F-hole. The neck, crafted from roasted birdseye maple, delivers remarkable stability and feel, while the AAA-grade rosewood fingerboard with 21 frets offers smooth playability across all registers.
The hand-wound Loaded '51 Nocaster single-coil from the Fender Custom Shop has an open cap to give the sound additional clarity.
Hand-wound Custom Shop '51 Loaded Nocaster Single Coils
For classic tone with modern clarity, Fender equips this model with two hand-wound Custom Shop '51 Loaded Nocaster single coils in the bridge and neck positions. These pickups deliver a punchy midrange, crisply defined highs, and the unmistakable Tele twang that made the early '50s Nocaster a legend. The open-top metal cover on the neck pickup enhances inductance and brightness, providing added note separation and a more articulate upper register – perfect for clean leads or detailed rhythm work.
