A special feature of this Custom Shop Stratocaster is its neck made of radially cut maple wood, which has undergone a stabilizing roasting process and gives the neck its dark colouring. On the tonal side, the Roasted 60 Stratocaster furthermore offers some interesting additional tonal options. All three Fender Texas Special single coils are wired with a Strat 1/2 Blender Wiring, which allows the neck pickup to be blended in continuously in switching positions 3 to 5 and thus, unlike conventional wirings, also permits the tonal combination of bridge and neck pickup. including case and certificate!
