Thus, the Limited Edition instrument is composed of a two-piece alder body and a bolt-on neck made of high-quality Rift Sawn Maple, which follows the historical specifications of the era with its pronounced 11/56 off-center V profile. The pickup equipment of the Fender Limited Edition '56 Stratocaster Heavy Relic is formed by three hand-wound Fat '50s single coils with unmistakable sound character of the early Stratocaster models. Here the middle pickup is reverse wound and polarized to make the intermediate positions 2 and 4 of the 5-way switch sound hum-free.
