The Gibson Les Paul Axcess Standard has been one of the most popular electric guitars among professional musicians for many years. The new, revised version now impresses with a look and playability like never before. At its core is a mahogany body with a two-piece curly maple top, paired with a mahogany neck and an East Indian rosewood fretboard. The design is enhanced by redesigned contours for added comfort and easier access to the fingerboard. To reinforce the transition from neck to headstock, the Les Paul Axcess Standard features the new Apex headstock. Two powerful Gibson humbuckers, the 490R and 498T, provide a versatile and commanding sound. The guitar comes with a Gibson Custom Shop hard case and certificate.
The Gibson Les Paul Axcess Standard combines the fresh DC Rust look with powerful sounds and pleasant playing comfort.
The new Apex Headstock serves to reinforce the transition from the guitar neck to the headstock and provides additional stability.
Grover tuners & new DC Rust look
The Apex-reinforced headstock is fitted with six solid Grover tuners with kidney wings, which, together with the locking nut, ensure outstanding tuning stability. Visually, the revised Les Paul Axcess Standard shines in the newly introduced DC Rust finish with a high-gloss coating, perfectly underlining the modern appearance of this collector's item.
Both modern rock sounds and bell-like single coil sounds are possible with the Gibson 490R and 498T humbuckers thanks to the coil split.
Gibson 490R & 498T Humbucker
The Les Paul Axcess Standard uses Gibson’s own 490R and 498T humbuckers. These powerful pickups deliver a versatile and dynamic sound that pushes every amplifier to its limits while maintaining a clear link to the legendary PAFs. The sonic range spans from characterful distortion and overdrive to warm, airy, and transparent clean tones. Both pickups can also be coil-split to produce authentic single-coil sounds.
