While Paul McCartney helped the four-string bass version of the instrument to world fame, the Violin Guitar is a hot tip among guitarists in search of iconic sixties sounds of the beat era. Following the classic recipe of violin making, the body of the Violin Guitar consists of a spruce top on a maple body, while the two-piece maple neck is fitted with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
