The Clara Emin+ PCIe card offers a powerful and reliable solution for professional audio environments that rely on the Dante protocol. With up to 128 bi-directional channels, it enables smooth and low-latency audio transmission over long distances with network infrastructure. Thanks to sample rates of up to 192 kHz, automatic configuration and the stable PCIe interface, the card achieves a latency of just 1 ms. Unlike virtual solutions, the Clara Emin+ uses two separate network connections to ensure redundancy and a fail-safe connection.
The continuously developed multi-client driver suite ensures maximum flexibility and minimal latency. ASIO 2.2, multi-channel WDM audio and WASAPI are fully supported, allowing multiple applications to access the sound system simultaneously - both via the same and different driver interfaces.
As this card is the + variant, the system also offers a word clock input and output as well as two MIDI inputs and outputs. This expansion card is connected to the main card via a ribbon cable and can be placed versatile inside the computer housing.
If several Clara Emin+ cards are used in a system, synchronization takes place via the TDM SyncBus, whereby they appear as a single sound system in an ASIO application. Furthermore, up to 32 audio signals can be exchanged with other Clara sound systems, such as the Clara Dmaj+, and made available for ASIO. With an optional expansion card, the Clara Emin+ can be expanded to include classic audio formats such as AES/EBU, ADAT or analog inputs and outputs. These additional interfaces are fully integrated into the routing and the Beast Mixer and can be seamlessly integrated into the Dante network.
The Clara Emin+ is completely fanless and is therefore also suitable for noise-sensitive environments. Thanks to dual-port Ethernet with AES67 support, it can be easily integrated into existing audio networks. The card can be cascaded via the TDM SyncBus and is compatible with standard Thunderbolt PCIe adapters, making it versatile for use in modern workstations. While the Windows and Linux drivers are already available, the Mac driver will be provided from Q2 2025. The overall package is rounded off with a lifetime of free quality support.
