Professional steel tongue drum
The Meinl OSTD2NB Octave Steel Tongue Drum 16" D Amara navy blue is made of high-quality stainless steel. It has a central bass tone in the middle, which is surrounded by eight other tones. These eight tone fields consist of two reeds each, which reproduce the tone in two octaves. This creates a wonderful, meditative sound that is similar to that of a handpan. The sound hole is located on the underside of the drum, which can be closed with a silicone plug to make the sound even more compact. There are also three silicone feet on the bottom to prevent the drum from slipping. The Octave Steel Tongue Drum can be played with mallets or, if desired, with the fingers. Two wooden mallets with rubber heads and a nice carrying bag with zipper and handle are included.
