The Launchkey 25 MK4 from Novation is an extensively equipped USB/DAW and MIDI controller, offering space for an arpeggiator, 16 pads, eight smooth-turning knobs, and chord mode all arranged clearly on its interface. The 25-key keyboard is easy to play, sturdily built, and equally suited for stage use, travel, or anywhere space is limited. The 16 velocity-sensitive pads with polyphonic aftertouch are ideal for expressive drum and percussion playing. The built-in arpeggiator can be used directly via the keyboard and offers various playback patterns. An integrated chord function also allows full chords to be played with just one finger. Thanks to the transport controls, global DAW functions such as start/stop, record, and metronome can be accessed directly from the Launchkey MK4. Novation has placed great emphasis on comprehensive DAW integration, with user-defined mapping options included in the MK4. The controller is ready out of the box for Ableton Live, Logic Pro X, Cubase, FL Studio, Reaper, and other DAWs. All settings can be adjusted directly on the device. On the rear panel, you'll find a sustain pedal input and a MIDI output. The latter can also be used to control external instruments, such as rack expanders or desktop synthesizers without built-in keyboards. The arpeggiator can also be routed through the MIDI output. Data transfer and power are handled via USB-C.

Connections

In addition to the pedal input for sustain, the MIDI output is also located on the rear panel. This can also be used to play other instruments such as eg. rack expanders or desktop synthesizers that do not have their own keyboard. The Arpeggiator can also be activated at this output. The data connection to the computer and power supply is via USB-C.

NKS support & Komplete 15 Select Bonus

With the latest update, this device offers NKS support: control over 2000 NKS instruments and effects. It allows you to load, customize and manage presets with physical controls. Help with controller integration can be found on the Native Instruments website.
