The Remo Black X Snare Head 14" is the thickest snare head of Remo's collection. It's made with two, free floating plies of 10-mil film and a 3-mil reverse black dot. This gives a consistent focused warm sound and a huge amount of durability, making them popular among many hardest hitting rock drummers. Although popular with rock drummers, this head can also be used for punk, R&B and pop.

The sound is good for rock or pop, but for the music I play is not. The sound
