Wersi instruments are far more than traditional electronic organs. Each instrument contains a powerful computer with forward looking software developed by German engineers over thousands of hours of work and continuously improved. This is one of the reasons why Wersi is among the few manufacturers that have survived the global decline of the organ industry.
Another unique selling point:

The Wersi development team has created an innovative system called WERSI Chord Band. Earlier WERSI chord systems placed all instruments on the same note. In a real big band, however, instruments such as trumpet, trombone and saxophone are distributed across a chord, creating the characteristic orchestral sound.
WERSI Chord Band recreates this arrangement automatically and produces a much more authentic big band sound.
WERSI Chord Band is available separately as a chargeable update.

The future is called OAX!
The instruments of the Wersi OAX series are built using the latest technologies and are the result of continuous development and careful market observation. With these instruments Wersi once again raises the bar for what is technically possible.
Complete software control of the entire system provides a level of flexibility that is rarely found in other instruments.
Continuous further development
OAX instruments are among the first musical instruments that can be expanded in sound and functionality through software. Completely new features and capabilities can be added through updates.
This means that an OAX instrument can remain technologically current even after many years of use. A dedicated development team continues to expand and improve the system.
Up to 11 expansion packs are currently available for instruments in the Wersi OAX series. These packages provide new styles, additional sounds and entirely new functions.
The range is continuously expanded.
You can find the current expansion packages here!

When the instrument is switched on, only the most important controls appear on the screen. Everything is displayed in a clear structure that mirrors the layout of the instrument. At the top you will find the Total Preset, which allows you to change the entire setup with a single touch. Below this are the controls for the upper manual, the lower manual, bass and accompaniment. Selecting a tone on the display opens a page with the corresponding instruments. As with a modern smartphone, the registers can be moved easily on the screen.
The result is an intuitive operating concept that allows you to start playing quickly without needing to study extensive manuals.
For advanced users the instrument can be switched to professional mode. In this mode more complex sound combinations become possible.
Up to 16 tones can be distributed across the manuals, and numerous additional parameters can be adjusted. The Soundpool section always shows how many tones are still available for assignment.
You can also create split zones on the manuals and combine several sounds on each side.

For many organ players nothing feels better than real drawbars. Pulling them out and shaping the sound in real time is one of the most characteristic elements of organ performance. With the Wersi OX7 drawbar system you can recreate the classic Wersi organ sound.
With the WERSI VB3 you are very close to the old electromechanical sound: Yes, it is the sound of the old mechanical sound wheels! Pull out one drawbar after the other and then switch the rotor to Slow or Fast - the sound will knock you off your feet or better ... off the organ bench!

The historic organ built by Gottfried Silbermann is located in the town church of Zöblitz and dates back to 1742.
This unique historical instrument has been faithfully recreated and can also be played on the Wersi Sonic OAX900.
The first portable organ from Farfisa was the Farfisa Compact series introduced in 1964.
The famous red Compact combo organ became a staple sound in many bands. Integrated effects such as chorus, echo, scanner vibrato and rotary simulation complete the characteristic tone.

The Sonic impresses not only with its large display and intuitive operation but above all with its extensive sound library made possible by newly developed audio boards. You can hear detailed wind instruments, expressive choirs, convincing grand pianos, powerful strings with deep timpani and modern synthesizer sounds normally associated with high end synthesizers. Of course the instrument also offers authentic organ sounds that can be controlled using drawbars. Special sound effects can be controlled via the aftertouch function on both manuals.

In addition to the variable drawbar systems there are more than 100 preset drawbar tones derived from legendary earlier Wersi instruments.
These include sounds from analogue models such as Wersi Helios and Wersi Galaxis as well as drawbar tones from the DX series and the CD series models Spectra and Atlantis.

The instrument includes highly detailed grand piano sounds suitable for classical, jazz, musical theatre and pop styles. Six dynamic layers and an additional resonance system based on a one gigabyte sample memory provide a wide expressive range from delicate pianissimo to powerful fortissimo. Electric piano sounds range from vintage Rhodes style tones to modern electric piano textures.

The WERSI SONIC features a professional, highly flexible synthesizer. All major synthesis types are included, such as analog with three oscillators, wavetable synthesis, and FM synthesis. These can be combined with each other and expanded with samples. With over 50 effects including distortion, echo, chorus, filter, and compression, the timbres are polished to perfection. This allows you to create rich analog brass, monophonic leads, pads, motion sounds, and complex electronic textures. More than 400 modern synth tones are available. The integrated arpeggiator automatically turns a pressed chord into complex sequences.

Whether performing cinematic scores, sophisticated classical pieces, or emotional ballads, the SONIC offers a full symphony and chamber orchestra experience with strings, brass, woodwinds, and orchestral percussion at the touch of a button. You no longer need to assemble individual timbres manually and can focus on the music. Conduct and play your SONIC orchestra with joy and enthusiasm.

The SONIC delivers highly realistic and expressive choir timbres. Jazzy scat vocals enhance swing tracks, while classical choirs pair beautifully with the strings for a rich ensemble sound. The Agnus Dei choir adds a special sparkle to Christmas music, and modern pop vocals suit contemporary songs. SONIC provides the right choir for any style of music.

Selecting Accordion Live displays an original accordion tab bar. Switching between registers reproduces the authentic mechanical click, and the resulting sound is incredibly realistic. Standard accordion sounds are included, along with genuine Hohner Morino tones, double octave 4’ and 16’ settings, and the Supita accordion. The French musette accordion features slightly detuned choirs for a lively, floating sound, perfect for French chansons or Styrian button accordion music. The Alpina accordion works well for alpine music. Many fixed accordion tones are also available for all musical styles.
The SONIC backing band realizes chords in a musically sophisticated way, producing outstanding results. Realistic drum grooves were recorded in a studio using multiple microphones. Acoustic guitars, electric guitars, electric piano, and brass sections can be integrated into your band, all playable with the SONIC. Styles from other manufacturers can be converted to WERSI OAX format via paid expansion packs, giving you a wide selection of styles.

No other area of music software has expanded as quickly in recent years as the range of VST instruments. There is now a multitude of programs available for every style of music. The timbres of the loaded VST instruments can be used on the manuals as well as for sequences and styles if the plug-in can generate several timbres simultaneously.
A new audio board with excellent technical data was developed for the OAX system. This results in the clear and warm sound of the organ. WINDOWS 11 64bit and the powerful PC components such as a strong CPU, fast 32GB RAM and the M.2 SSD hard disk are the basis for a modern musical instrument designed for the future.
Do you have a specific question about your OAX instrument? Or have you adjusted something and can't get any further?

The WERSI Vocalis speakers are characterized by a homogeneous character with a tendency towards brilliance. The mids are well defined and the bass range is calm and balanced. The ribbon transducers in the treble range provide the user with an absolutely high-resolution monitoring signal that perfectly reproduces the transients in the mid and treble spectrum without ever appearing obtrusive, as is unfortunately the case with many other competing systems.
The Wersi TS9000 "Made in Germany" loudspeakers were developed for the large WERSI instruments and specially designed for the low organ basses. After years of almost unchanged production, the WERSI success model is now back.
The TS9000 offers a room-filling, warm, rich hi-fi sound and a bass sound that gets under your skin. And all crystal clear at any volume. The power amplifier and crossover are optimally matched to the specially selected loudspeaker. The 300 watt power amplifier offers sufficient reserves when you play at a house party.
