2hp Blur: The Smallest Spectral Processor Ever
Ethereal pads, spectral textures and endless soundscapes in Eurorack
With Blur, 2hp presents an effects processor that conjures up endless ethereal pads from the simplest audio material. Specifically, Blur utilises complex FFT algorithms to ‘smear’ and rearrange the spectral frequency components. The range of sounds the module is capable of producing is immense! No two sound sources with the same settings will produce the same results. The results therefore depend directly on the audio source. The Time control adjusts the time-stretching, whilst Vibe introduces melodic and tonal variations. The Mix control determines the balance between the original signal and its rearranged version.
