Wireless transmission system with headset

The AKG WMS 470, Presentation Set B8, is designed for setting up large multi-channel systems and can be used in a ‘ flexibel ’ configuration. It comprises the SR 470 receiver, the PT 470 bodypack transmitter, the C 555 L headband microphone and the CK 99 L lavalier microphone.

CK 99 L lavalier microphone

By boosting frequencies above 10 kHz, the CK 99 L lavalier microphone delivers a very transparent sound and excellent speech intelligibility. Disturbing background noise is effectively suppressed by the cardioid polar pattern and low-frequency roll-off. The microphone can be easily attached to clothing using the supplied clip or the optionally available H 41/1 lapel pin

C 555 L Headband Microphone

The headband microphone is very robust, extremely comfortable to wear and offers optimum speech intelligibility. The continuously adjustable rear headband ensures a comfortable and secure fit. The C 555 L’s condenser microphone c befestigt e on either the left or right side of the headband. Structure-borne noise is effectively suppressed by an elastic shock absorber.

SR 470 Diversity Receiver

The SR 470 diversity receiver allows the simultaneous operation of up to 16 channels within a single frequency band. By combining several frequency bands, it is possible to create systems offering absolute operational reliability with a maximum of 48 links. Thanks to the automatic frequency selection, which finds and displays all available channels in a matter of seconds, operation is straightforward even for non-technical users. A pilot tone transmitted with the audio signal prevents background noise by ensuring the receiver only passes the audio signal once the transmitter has been detected. On the SR 470’s ‘ Display ’, changes in colour indicate critical operating conditions, such as ‘ z.B. ’ (transmitter battery low), low remaining battery life, audio signal peaks or low RF field strength.

The PT 470 bodypack transmitter can be used to connect instruments and all AKG microphones with a mini-XLR connector.
