With the Blackstar ID:X Floor, Blackstar brings the powerful modelling technology of the current ID:X amplifier series into a compact floorboard format. The guitar processor offers intuitive operation with the flexibility of a modern modelling floorboard and is equally suited to the stage, the studio and home recording. Six amp voicings cover a wide tonal spectrum, ranging from Clean Warm and Clean Bright through to Crunch and Super Crunch, right up to the OD 1 and OD 2 overdrive modes, delivering sounds for all your favourite genres. With more than 35 effects and a built-in expression pedal, the floorboard offers plenty of scope for experimentation, whilst numerous routing options make the ID:X Floor the ideal companion for the rehearsal room, studio and stage.
For particularly versatile sound shaping, the ID:X Floor combines the patented ISF control with three selectable power amp emulations based on EL84, EL34 and 6L6 valves. This allows the tone characteristics to be continuously varied between British and American-style amplifiers and adapted to the respective musical style. The amp modelling is complemented by more than 35 built-in effects, which can be conveniently edited and saved directly on the unit, whilst the built-in expression pedal allows for freely assignable volume, wah or expression effects.
An easy-to-read display ensures intuitive navigation through presets and effect parameters, whilst extensive connectivity options make it suitable for use in almost any situation. In addition to instrument and amplifier outputs, the unit features, amongst other things, an XLR output, USB-C, MIDI In, as well as connections for headphones and streaming applications. The Blackstar ID:X Floor thus presents itself as a versatile all-in-one solution for guitarists seeking authentic amp sounds, modern effects and user-friendly operation in a compact floorboard.
