The Blackstar TV-10 AH 6L6 Head is the perfect amplifier head for guitarists looking for a genuine valve sound with a US-style voicing that produces rich tones even at low volume levels. To achieve this, Blackstar has equipped the TV-10 Head with an ECC83 preamp valve and a 6L6 power valve, ensuring the signal path remains entirely analogue and valve-driven. Unlike the large, all-valve powerhouses, the TV-10 offers a reduced power output of 10 watts, which allows the power stage to be driven into saturation even at moderate volumes. The amp’s controls remain straightforward and classic, comprising a tone control, a gain control and a master volume control. In addition, the TV-10 features a built-in reverb effect. However, if you wish to use the Blackstar TV-10 with external effects units, you can utilise the effects loop on the rear panel.
