The D'Addario Acoustic Bass Strings 45-130 5-String is a pack of strings for a five-string acoustic bass guitar. The EPBB170-5 set produces a rich, deep and projecting tone. Phosphor Bronze is well known for delivering a warm, bright, and well balanced acoustic tone with ease thanks to a construction where the strings are precision wound with corrosion resistant phosphor bronze onto a carefully drawn, hexagonally shaped, high carbon steel core. This results in a long lasting, bright sounding tone with excellent intonation.
D'Addario Acoustic Bass Strings 45-130 5-StringThese strings make my acoustic bass sound warm and a little louder than other strings. Very durable and, if properly maintained, they keep the same sound characteristics for quite some time with no degradation. A little too expensive, but as bassists it's nothing new to us.
