Mahogany body with solid maple top

To remain true to the construction of historic single-cuts, the Duesenberg The Senior also features a mahogany body with a arched solid maple top. In addition, the instrument features a one-piece mahogany neck with a balanced Medium D profile and an Indian rosewood fingerboard, which offers 22 frets in a comfortable jumbo format.

Duesenberg Split/King humbucker in the bridge position

The ingenious design of the Split/King humbucker proves that the Duesenberg The Senior, with its bridge humbucker, is capable of producing far more than just one sound. The humbucker, in its stylish Phonico design, is conceived as a fully-fledged single-coil pickup which, thanks to its innovative circuitry with an additional coil, produces not only double-coil sounds but also authentic single-coil tones. The switching modes of the Duesenberg Split/King are controlled via a 3-way rotary switch.

The body features a compact Duesenberg Wraparound bridge, which, thanks to its well-thought-out design, offers a wide range of adjustment options for string action and intonation, whilst six Duesenberg Z-Tuners ensure stable tuning.
