With the Epiphone ES-345 Varitone Ebony, the deluxe version of the popular semi-hollow classic returns to the Epiphone lineup. Built according to the classic Gibson recipe, the semi-hollow guitar features a laminated maple body with a solid spruce center block, providing both enhanced resonance and improved resistance to feedback. The traditional Rounded C profile of the mahogany neck ensures a familiar and comfortable feel across the entire fingerboard, while two Epiphone Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers deliver a wide range of tones from smooth cleans to gritty rock sounds. The six-position Varitone circuit offers different capacitor settings that shape the treble roll-off of the tone controls, allowing for a variety of tonal textures. The Epiphone ES-345 Varitone is completed by robust LockTone hardware with a practical locking function that ensures secure mounting and efficient transfer of string vibration to the body.
