FBT X SUB 118SA – active 18" subwoofer with powerful bass performance

The FBT X SUB 118SA is a high-performance active 18"-subwoofer with a bass-reflex design and the ideal addition to professional sound reinforcement systems. With its 1200 W Class D amplifier, an 18" woofer with a 3" voice coil and a maximum sound pressure level of 136 dB peak, it delivers powerful, precise and authoritative bass for live events, clubs, conference rooms, bands and permanent installations.

Thanks to its frequency response of 38 Hz to 120 Hz, the subwoofer provides impressive low-frequency extension and is the perfect match for the FBT X LITE and X PRO series. The integrated DSP processor, featuring four presets, offers flexible customisation options for different applications and speaker set-ups. Two sound profiles, each with two different crossover frequencies, enable quick and practical tuning.

The X SUB 118SA also impresses in terms of handling and features: the robust cabinet, made from 15 mm birch plywood with a scratch-resistant black finish, is designed for professional use. Two FBT aluminium handles facilitate transport, whilst the integrated M20 flange allows a spacer bar for top speakers to be securely attached.

For maximum connection flexibility, stereo combo XLR/jack inputs, link outputs and stereo XLR high-pass filter outputs for satellite speakers are available. In addition, the subwoofer features 0°/180° phase reversal, a level control, preset switches and PRT/LMT status LEDs for reliable monitoring during operation.
