Fredenstein V.A.S. Compressor

The Fredenstein VAS Compressor is an analogue FET compressor in a closed cabinet. The VAS Compressor owes its unique characterful sound to the use of a completely discrete operational amplifier OPA2 and the high-quality American output transformer. A 12-digit LED display is used to indicate the level reduction. An additional 12-digit LED display is used to control the output level. Adjustable release times from 70 milliseconds to 2.5 seconds, adjustable Attack times from 0.5 milliseconds to 50 milliseconds, adjustable ratio from 2:1 to 20:1, as well as the switchable side-chain filter adjustable from 6Hz to 2 KHz and the possibility to mix the uncompressed and compressed signal make the use of the Fredenstein VAS even more versatile.
