The Gibson Les Paul Special Vintage Cherry from the Original Collection represents the classic design of the popular student electric guitar from the golden era. Accordingly, the mahogany body follows the single-cut construction with classically set mahogany neck in the powerful Vintage 50s profile, which has been tried and tested for over sixty years. In terms of sound, the Les Paul Special relies on two P-90 single coils in a soapbar housing and delivers a striking sound character between powerful humbucker sounds and articulate single coil sounds for solid rock and expressive blues. In addition, the Les Paul Special offers the authentic original equipment of the prototype with one-piece wraparound bridge and vintage deluxe tuners with white wings.
