The Godin 5th Avenue Uptown T-Armond Havana Burst is a traditional ‘ Hollow-Body ’ electric guitar with a surprising twang to its sound. This is down to two TV Jones T-Armond Single-Coil-Pickups which, in combination with the large resonant body made from laminated Canadian wild cherry wood, deliver a brilliant sound with a crisp emphasis on the attack and a resonant timbre. Consequently, the repertoire of this hollow-body electric guitar includes not only traditional jazz sounds, but also crisp rock ’n’ roll and blues played with a crunchy tone. With its shortened 631-mm scale length and the comfortable profile of the maple neck, the Godin 5th Avenue Uptown T-Armond Havana Burst also offers excellent playability. Last but not least, the Godin 5th Avenue Uptown is fitted with a Bigsby Vibrato-Tailpiece which, thanks to the ‘Roller-Bridge’ system, ensures excellent tuning stability even with frequent use of the vibrato lever.
