The J & D ST Vintage Red electric guitar offers plenty of vintage flair and classic sounds at unbeatable value for money. Featuring a triple Wilkinson single-coil pickup configuration and a classically slim ‘C’ neck profile, it is ideal as an instrument for the ambitious beginner, whilst professionals will also appreciate this guitar as a second instrument. Last but not least, it features a solid hardware setup comprising a bolt-on vintage tremolo and sturdy die-cast tuners.
The J & D Vintage Series utilises artificially aged fittings, parts and finishes, giving every instrument in the series a classic appearance. All plastic components – including the pickguard, potentiometer knobs and pickup covers – are finished in a historically accurate parchment colour, whilst the finish on the neck and headstock features an authentic vintage tint ageing effect. Naturally, the specifications and dimensions of the J & D ST Vintage also remain faithful to the specifications of their iconic predecessors from the 1950s and 1960s.
Unique in this price range are the solid alder body and the bolt-on neck made from Canadian rock maple, which give the J & D ST Vintage its crisp fundamental character and bell-like response. The neck, with its slim ‘C’ profile, offers beginners in particular a comfortable foundation for their first chords, riffs and licks right up to the highest registers of the composite fingerboard.
With signature pickups from parts giant Trevor Wilkinson, the J & D delivers authentic sounds through the amplifier with a distinctly audible vintage character, at home across a broad spectrum ranging from blues to country and rock. The single-coil pickups impress with their bell-like, transparent reproduction and brilliant dynamics, whether the amp is set to clean or distorted. All three pickups are controlled via a 5-way blade switch for pickup selection, as well as a master volume control and two tone controls.
The fully chrome-plated hardware on the J & D ST Vintage consists of a robust vintage tremolo system. This is fitted with steel springs at the rear and produces shimmering vibrato sounds. Furthermore, six individual string saddles allow each string to be precisely adjusted for action and intonation. Last but not least, sealed die-cast tuners ensure rock-solid tuning and, of course, the classic ST look.
J & D ST Vintage (Red)Bought my first E-guitar ever! Tested it @ Music Store by letting a pro play on it... awful good sound! Very very good guitar for its price. You can go to the more known brands, but you will not find an as good sounding guitar for the same price! Not even for a bit more! Really happy with it! Rock on! ps: combine it with a Fender Mustang I (amplifier), what a machine!

This guitar is amazing. I bought it about a three months ago. I have never bough a guitar with so much quality at such a low price.
Jack and Danny seem to make really good instruments. For instance, the pickups on this a great, you get that exact stratocaster sound.
This is way better than any squier i have ever tried. And I have tried a lot of them, Fenders also.

Great sound due to wilkinson pickups! Better than most squier ive played. (But cant beat a real fender)

Workmanship= okay, some rough edges, but what can you expect for €100.
