The STINGER 12 A G3 is a PA loudspeaker designed for maximum flexibility and reliability. The multifunctional cabinet, featuring bevelled sides, stand mounts and fly points, allows the speaker to be used in the traditional upright position, on a stand, flown or laid flat as a monitor. This means you are ideally equipped for a wide range of applications.

Meanwhile, the specially developed 12-inch woofer and the BMS tweeter ensure that the LD-Systems STINGER 12 A G3 remains versatile in terms of sound quality. The loudspeaker reproduces powerful bass just as confidently as it does transparent mid-range and treble. And thanks to the tweeter’s advanced waveguide, the dispersion characteristics are exemplary, being particularly controlled and uniform.

Powerful and robustly built

With 500 watts RMS and a maximum sound pressure level of 131 dB, the LD-Systems STINGER 12 A G3 delivers plenty of power. To ensure sound quality is never compromised, it utilises LD-Systems’ exclusive DynX DSP technology. This effectively prevents distortion even at high volumes, ensuring the sound always remains clean and punchy. Thanks to a total of six carefully tuned presets, setting up and getting the speaker ready for use is a breeze.

A PA speaker with such high power output deserves a robust cabinet – and the STINGER 12 A G3 certainly doesn’t disappoint in this respect. The speaker is constructed from 15-millimetre-thick birch plywood, which is coated with an extremely durable polyurea finish for added protection. Add to this the steel front grille, and you have a speaker that effortlessly withstands the rigours of everyday life on stage.
