Three switchable sound characteristics

Dynamic =///= condenser: Both elements are neutral.
Dynamic +///= Condenser: Dynamic element boosts frequencies between 3 and 5 kHz, condenser side remains neutral.
Dynamic +//+ Capacitor: Dynamic element takes over the 3-5 kHz range, capacitor is responsible for the frequencies from 70-150 Hz. Overall, this mode gives you the most powerful kick sound you've ever heard.

The Lewitt DTP 640 REX is a dual-element microphone designed specifically to capture the sound of drums and percussion instruments. The core consists of two in-phase capsules, one condenser and one dynamic element. For more flexibility in studio and live applications, you can switch between three sounds.

Housed in a single enclosure are two phase-aligned microphones. The dynamic side sorgt for precise attack reproduction of your kick drum, while the condenser element captures the low end of the frequency spectrum of your Drum. Each element has its own output. This allows you to shape the sound in a unique way.

The DTP 640 REX features a hardened, hexagonal, ruthenium-galvanized steel grille and a solid die-cast metal housing. Lewitt's DTP 640 REX gives you massive yet clear Kick drum and bass recordings, in the studio and on stage.
