The Mapex Black Panther Nucleus 14"x5.5" Polished Black snare drum offers professional sound and excellent craftsmanship. The shell is 8.1 mm thick and features a hybrid construction. Whilst the inner and outer plies are made of maple, the centre features a walnut core. The warm and balanced maple sound is complemented by the dark undertone of the walnut. The Black Panther Nucleus is fitted with the tried-and-tested SONIClear beading. The Cylinder Drive lift allows the attack to be precisely adjusted and, in combination with Remo Ambassador heads, produces an organically deep sound with outstanding mid-range. Mapex Sonic Saver hoops guarantee tuning stability. The Staggered 1/8" Offset Locking B-Lugs are arranged in a staggered pattern, and the elegant chrome plating harmonises perfectly with the Polished Black lacquer finish.
