The OBSBOT USB-C to Ethernet adapter has been specially developed for the OBSBOT Tail Air and ensures a stable wired network connection. Compared to wireless setups, you benefit from lower latency and more reliable transmission, particularly for live streams, multi-camera productions, church services, live music, lessons and events.
Power over Ethernet for tidy setups
The adapter supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) in accordance with IEEE 802.3af, delivering up to 13 W. This allows both the network connection and power supply to be carried via a single cable, provided your router, switch or terminal supports PoE. This reduces cable clutter and makes fixed installations much tidier.
Additional power supply via USB-C
If PoE is not available, the Tail Air can be powered via the additional USB-C charging port. This ensures the camera remains reliably operational even during longer streaming sessions.
