The Palmer PAN 04 A is a 2-channel DI box for feeding the unbalanced and high-impedance signals of electrical instruments into the microphone inputs of a mixing console. It provides a transformer-balanced, low-impedance signal at the outputs and eliminates network hum and interference caused by ground loops. The active circuit leaves the frequency response unaffected and achieves a high dynamic range. In addition to 6.35 mm direct outputs and -30 dB switchable input attenuation, the DI box has a mono output that adds up both channels. The Palmer PAN 04 A has an extremely robust design and is equally suitable for stage and studio. It can be operated with 9 to 24 V DC mains adapters or phantom power if two outputs are connected to a mixing console.
