The Prodipe SB21 Lanen Sax & Brass clip-on microphone is ideal for recording wind instruments. The newly developed electret microphone capsule can handle sound pressure levels of up to 140 dB without compromising the warmth and timbre of the instrument.
Suitable for any wind instrument
The microphone can capture all wind instruments, from alto and tenor saxophones to trumpets, trombones, tubas and horns. During development, particular attention was paid to how the instrument is mounted. A movable part is combined with a fixed one, ensuring great flexibility in how it is attached and enhanced stability. The SB21 Lanen Sax & Brass clip-on microphone comes with mounting clips and a mini XLR to XLR adapter. Phantom power (48V) is required.
