With BOC Mk2, Rides In The Storm presents an analog oscillator with discrete circuit technology and stable tracking. Due to its design, BOC Mk2 delivers an assertive, warm sound and provides the four standard waveforms ramp, triangle, sine and square. There is also a voltage-controllable wavefolder for aggressive sounds, the source of which is the triangle waveform, and the gravity output (a mixture of triangle, sub3/4 and XOR). A special feature of this oscillator is the extensively equipped sub-oscillator, which simultaneously offers four outputs with the frequency dividers 2/3, 3/4, 1/2 and 1/4 with various waveform combinations including PWM. With its focus on the bass range, this oscillator is probably one of the best in its class. The (soft) sync input can adjust the sync intensity with Offset and works best with a square waveform to create classic sync sounds; hard sync is available at the reset input. There is an exponential and a linear FM input with attenuator for modulation. The pulse widths for the main wave and the sub-oscillator outputs can be controlled manually and via a control voltage with its own attenuator.
