Classic ‘Staple’ P-90 pickup with ‘Dogear’ mounting tabs for the bridge position
The Roswell P-90 Staple Dogear Bridge recreates the sound of the ‘more articulate’ Alnico V P-90 pickup found on early Gibson and archtop guitars, drawing on the traditional winding formula of this rare pickup. Six eponymous ‘Staple’ Alnico V magnets for each string ensure clear string separation and the powerful ‘twang’ of larger pole pieces, whilst the coil winding provides a slightly higher output with added presence.
