The Schaller STM Adjustable Roller Bridge (Nickel) is a high-quality Bridge for all LP-Style Guitars with Adjustable Height, Intonation and String Spacing. Schaller's STM Bridge has 2x different types of Saddle to suit the different String Gauges: 3x V-Shaped Saddles for the High Strings and 3x U-Shaped Saddles for the Low Strings. Optionally, 2x Rollers can be mounted per String Ferrule for double String Guiding. Height Adjustment Screws and T-Nuts are supplied with the Bridge.
Schaller STM Adjustable Roller Bridge (Nickel)With so much adjustment and roller saddles, this is one of the nicest bridges I have had to install! And Schaller have the dimensions available if you use CAD etc when building (or when making plans without the hardware).
I had a Firebird that sounded & played beautifully but, when I looked closely, the strings were not parallel to the fretboard. I could have paid a luthier to move the whole thing a few millimeters which would have been costly & left a scar. I bought this bridge & adjusted the rollers so that the strings lay perfectly parallel. It would have been good to know that the posts supplied were the small diameter & that I needed the large (an extra that was almost half the price of the bridge!!). But it was all supplied quickly & works well. The rollers also help maintain tuning after string bending. I'm now thinking of ordering another for a guitar with a Bigsby.
